Maribor Airport passenger terminal
Due to runway renovation which will be carried out between April 7 and 21, 2010, Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport will be closed to all traffic. During the closure Adria Airways flights will be operated from Maribor Airport, located in Slovenia‘s North East. Free coach transfer will be arranged for passengers from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport to Maribor Edvard Rusjan Airport. Coach transfers are planned approximately 3 hours before estimated departure times. During Ljubljana Airport’s closure parking for passengers will be free of charge.Due to Ljubljana’s closure some flights in the Adria network will be cancelled. Other airline’s will also have to relocate flights, although most will cancel their services. You can read more about Ljubljana’s runway upgrade here. It will be an odd sight at Miarbior as the airport is not served by any airline.
Only easyJet flights will be canceled in that period.
ReplyDeleteTHY and OK flights will also be operated from Maribor, JU flights from Portorož and AF probably from Trieste. There is no information about Montenegro.
That picture of Maribor looks like something from Afghanistan! I guess EU money hasn't found it's way to that part of the country!
ReplyDeleteTo get EU money you must have very good and exact plan and program for a future profit. But Maribor has less then you can call basic operations. To say it simply: no operations or good plans for furture operations - no EU money.
