PHOTOS: Croatia Airlines launches Lisbon service

NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines has launched flights between Zagreb and Lisbon with 97 passengers on board the inaugural flight. Services will operate three times per week, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, on a seasonal summer basis until the end of October with a wet-leased Fokker 100 aircraft. An Airbus A319 was used on the inaugural service. Portugal's national carrier TAP will codeshare on the route. According to Croatia Airlines' CEO, there has been strong demand for the flights and the route could be operated on a year-long basis. Croatia Airlines also lunched flights to Prague and Milan late last week, while services to St. Petersburg will be introduced on June 2.

Good luck, OU, hope this route will remain all year round, although there are rumors that TAP will return to ZAG in March 2017!
