Montenegro tops Russia ticket sales

Montenegro was the most popular destination for Russian holiday makers travelling on scheduled flights this summer. According to Russia's largest ticket sales provided, Tutu, Montenegro has taken the title for a second consecutive year, based on sales made through its website, as well as direct sales made by the operating carriers. Airlines running scheduled flights between Russia and Montenegro this summer (most of which are on a seasonal basis) include Aeroflot, Montenegro Airlines, Nordstar Airlines, Pobeda, Red Wings Airlines, RoyalFlight, S7 Airlines, Ural Airlines, UTair Aviation and Yamal Airlines. Montenegro Airlines has reported passenger growth of 20% on its flights to and from Russia so far this year.

  1. So what happened to Montenegro's bank accounts being blocked?

    1. They are still blocked.

    2. Will it be affected for their flight operations?

  2. Don't the Russians own most of the real estate on the Montenegran coast? If true, this should be no surprise

  3. I thought they wanted to get rid of the Russians. Wasnt Djukanovic declaring them to be the biggest problem for Montenegro some months ago?!
