Air Arabia downgrades Sarajevo service

NEWS FLASH

Air Arabia will operate its last service from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates to Sarajevo for 2016 this evening following a decision to downgrade the route to seasonal summer operations only. The flights, which were launched in March, were initially planned to run throughout the year, with three weekly services during the winter. The airline now plans to return to the Bosnian capital on March 18, 2017. Air Arabia temporarily suspended all flights between the two cities in June during the Ramadan holiday period but resumed operations a month later. Upon the launch of its Sarajevo service in March, Air Arabia said the city would prove “a great all-year-round destination” and that “we anticipate very healthy demand for the route when it launches”.

I'm hoping this marks the stagnation of Arab tourism and investment to Bosnia?

I'm not so sure about that. Most of them originate from Kuwait andd layover in Istanbul or use charters.
