easyJet sees strong first year in Montenegro

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier easyJet has said it is satisfied with the performance of its flights to Montenegro, after it entered the market this summer with seasonal two weekly services from London Gatwick Airport and Manchester to Tivat. The airline handled some 10.500 passengers between London and Tivat and a further 16.000 travellers between Manchester and the Montenegrin city this summer season. Services from Manchester were launched on March 26, while flights from London were introduced on June 16. The average cabin load factor on its Tivat flights stood at 89%. The airline will maintain two weekly flights from both cities next year, with services from the British capital to commence earlier, on March 27. "We have very good cooperation with the team at Tivat Airport and we continue to work closely with them in order to effectively operate our services from the airport", an airline official told the "Vijesti" daily.

Hoping for more routes, either Tivat//Podgorica or at least more frequency by LLC. So far, all flights by W6, FR, U2 have only 2 flights per week.

    Go go Montenegro!
