Belgrade Airport registers 24-hour record

NEWS FLASH


Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport recorded its busiest day on record last Friday, June 30, when it handled 21.231 passengers, overtaking the previous record set on September 2, 2016. In June, the airport welcomed 506.796 travellers through its doors, up 10.2% on the same month last year. Overall, during the first half of the year, Belgrade Airport handled 2.311.921 passengers, an increase of 9.5%. It estimates welcoming 5.5 million travellers by the end of the year.

  4. To su lepe vesti za sadasnju poziciju tog aerodroma. Od stupanja koncesionara i liberizacije avio saobracaja u Srbiji, ostvarice se predvidjanja. Beogradska vazdusna luka ce ostvarivati promet putnika iznad petnaest miliona putnika u iducih petnaestak godina. Podrazumeva se sa neuporedivo vecim brojem prevozioca i kargo saobracaja. I ne samo to vec ce se aktivirati domaci saobracaj na sekundarnim aerodromima. Kao sto su Nis, Kraljevo i Uzice za pocetak. Moguce je i jos par. Uglavno sa LCC i Carter saobracajem. Jedini i osnovni uslov jeste da bude mir. Ipak to zavisi od savesti ljudi koji zive tu na Balkanu i okolini. Pun nade i radosti za razvoj avijacije, iz zimskog Sidneja,
    Rodney Marinkovic and friends.

  5. BEG has published its complete statistics for June and here it is:

    Passengers: 506.796 (+10%)
    Cargo: 2.116.046 (+71%) !!
    Mail: 149.393(+6%)

    2017 so far:

    Passengers: 2.311.921 (+9%)
    Cargo: 8.362.259 (+20%)
    Mail: 1.031.418 (+10%)

    So far BEG added an additional 200.231 passengers compared to last year. Overall, 2017 seems like it will be a really good year.
