Croatia Airlines - Asiana expand codeshare

NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines and South Korea's Asiana Airlines will expand their codeshare partnership at the end of March, just three months after inking an initial agreement. As of this summer season, Asiana will place its flight numbers and designator code onto Croatia Airlines' services from Frankfurt to Pula and Zadar, as well as from Paris to Dubrovnik and Split. On the other hand, Croatia Airlines already codeshares on Asiana's flight from Frankfurt, London Heathrow and Paris to Seoul. Croatia Airlines' CEO, Jasmin Bajić, said, "We are delighted that as a result of this cooperation Croatia has become even more accessible to Korean tourists. This is yet another example of a global carrier recognising the quality of Croatia Airlines' services". South Korea's national carrier, Korean Air, which operates between ten to a dozen summer charters from Seoul to Zagreb each year, codeshares on ČSA Czech Airlines' seasonal flights between Prague and the Croatian capital. Its low cost subsidiary Jin Air has announced plans to launch services from Seoul to Zagreb next year. Both Asiana Airlines and Croatia Airlines are members of Star Alliance.

I wonder, why Asiana hasn't started some sorts of flights to Zagreb. I don't think Jin and Asiana are related.

Jin Air and Asiana are not related. If you read the article it says Jin Air is a subsiduary od Korean Air.
