Croatia Airlines CEO joins ERA board

NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines' CEO, Jasmin Bajić, has been appointed as a member of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) nineteen-strong board for a three-year term. The Croatian carrier joined ERA, a non-profit trade association representing the European aviation industry, last year. ERA works on behalf of its members to represent their interests before Europe’s major regulatory bodies. The association also brings members together to exchange information and learn from each other through different events and forums for members to meet. Adria Airways, Trade Air and Pula Airport, along with Croatia Airlines are members of the association from the region. In a statement, Mr Bajić said, “I am honoured to be elected to the ERA Board. This election constitutes a special business mission and challenge for me on top of my 23-year long professional career in aviation. I strongly believe that my new role on the ERA Board will bring benefits for the whole ERA community, as I will continue to work wholeheartedly for the success of the regional aviation sector”. Mr Bajić was appointed CEO of Croatia Airlines in 2017. He joined the carrier in 1995 and prior to his current position, he held managerial functions in areas of Corporate Planning, Strategy, Fleet Planning, Network Management, Finance and Controlling and Internal Audit. Mr Bajić graduated in 1983 at the School of Economics and Business of the University of Sarajevo. From 1983 to 1984 he served on the Organising Committee of the XIV Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo.
