NEWS FLASH
Eurowings will introduce flights between Cologne and Pristina next summer. The route will commence on July 1 and operate twice per week, with further details available here. The carrier previously maintained the service from 2006 until October 2019. It faces competition from GP Aviation between the two cities. Cologne will complement the budget carrier’s services from Pristina to Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hannover, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart and Salzburg.

EW bring EW, they are also cutting a lot of flights left and right including HAM-DBV. :(
ReplyDeleteWill EW operate Salzburg also in the summer? Last time it was said it will just for the end-year holiday season.
ReplyDeleteThis would be the 4th airport in North Rhine-Westphalia from PRN. Only Weeze and Paderborn left, although Paderborn was operated previously by tour operators.
ReplyDeletePaderborn by GP
DeleteAny updates on their PRN-BEG flights? :)
ReplyDeleteI don’t think so, nothing new!
DeleteA non-starter both politically and economically.
DeleteNone needs this connection
DeleteFrom BEG there are 4 buses per day to Pristina alone which take 6-7 hours. A flight which takes 2 hours is a no-brainer and a lot of Serbs in Kosovo would use it.
DeleteWell...this is good news , isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThey should launch Vienna as well. 3rd most frequented destination out of PRN now all left in the hands of Austrian and lousy 2x week schedule from GP Aviation 😅
ReplyDeleteEW don't have a base in Vienna. It would have been great for EX-YU airports, if they had, especially because EW and OS have a codeshare agreement.
Delete^^ Nothing stopping them from opening one!
DeleteMaybe we have to email the ceo of EW to tell him what his priorities are
