Anon 20:40, I am not sure the labor is cheap anymore in Bosnia unfortunately. The minimal wage is going up from 520eur to more than 600eur net from 1st of January

It isn't but the gross wage is 950 euros when the net is 600. Bosnia needs to lower taxes and it will reach Bulgarian net levels

This is no proof that they are opening a base. It is just a meeting to discuss future possibilities and new routes. The article also mentions that they hope the negotiations will lead to results in the future, that also means there are no agreed decissions at this point and therefore no results we can claim will be around the corner

This is not related to the base news, just an opportunity to launch flights to Dublin now that the embassy of Ireland will open (visa fees are 0€ for Bosnians but they had to go to Ljubljana before)

Congratulations to Sarajevo from Zagreb! Surpassing 2 million passengers already, before December which will probably draw in even larger numbers, seemed like mission impossible mere couple of years ago.
    Fantastic!
My wife and I will be spending the New Year's in Sarajevo and I really don't feel like driving, so we're flying in.
    All the best!
