I think they will completely change what aircraft they want after the Paris Air Show but time will tell.EX-YU Aviationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13952283005857074627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5263744212273266286.post-12119624649245993422009-05-26T12:28:48.966+02:002009-05-26T12:28:48.966+02:00The name change (like the livery change) will mean...The name change (like the livery change) will mean very little.<br /><br />The biggest concern for mine is the fact they will be <B>reducing</B> their fleet capabilities with this upgrade.<br /><br />They need to buy 5 ATRs to replace their current fleet and not doing so is a worry especially for short-haul routes, also the fact that by the time they get around to delivery etc they've not chosen the state-of-the-art, efficient -600s.<br /><br />The mid-size planes earmarked for purchase (90-odd seat jets: CRJs, Sukhoi 100s or Embraer 195s) won't cover the small gaps in the middle that are needed with the ATRs.<br /><br />Is the airline's new policy aiming to reduce its destinations, and/or frequencies?
