Air Serbia-Etihad expand codeshare

Monday, April 13, 2015

Etihad Airways will be expanding its codeshare partnership with its equity alliance partner Air Serbia this week. The Emirati carrier will place its “EY” code and flight numbers onto Air Serbia’s service between Belgrade and Istanbul starting this Wednesday. Etihad already codeshares on a range of Air Serbia routes from Belgrade including Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, Berlin, Banja Luka, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Bucharest, Prague, Sarajevo, Stockholm, Sofia, Stuttgart, Podgorica, Tirana, Tivat and Zurich. During the summer, Etihad is also expected to add its codes onto seven other destinations operated by the Serbian carrier. The codeshares are on a freesale basis, giving Etihad access to Air Serbia’s inventory and allowing it to market seats independently of the operating carrier.
