ČSA Czech Airlines will operate a one-off flight from Prague to Sarajevo this summer. The carrier will run its outbound service from the Czech capital on June 19, departing Prague at 04.35 CEST, while the return flight will operate on June 20, leaving Sarajevo at 20.05. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through the airline’s website. The flight will operate with an Airbus A319 aircraft. In a statement, ČSA said, “Several technical, complementary connections from Prague to selected destinations, from where we will operate seasonal flights for one of our business partners, have been uploaded into the booking system. These technical, one-off flights are offered at special prices, starting at 19 euros, excluding airport tax, for one-way tickets. The majority of the flights are designed as one-way flights, but headed to our regularly serviced destinations, such as Amsterdam, Bucharest, Frankfurt and Warsaw, to be combined with one of our regular services. To return from the destinations not serviced by Czech Airlines on a regular basis, such as Munich, Dublin and Salzburg, alternative ways of transport can be used. The only exception is the Sarajevo connection, where a return flight is offered”.

ReplyDeleteOdd... How could that be profitable or is this a form of market research?
ReplyDeleteI believe its a promo campaign, thats what these prices suggest. OK is now partnering with KE in a manner similar to that with JU and EY. They will expand their fleet and introduce new routes, and are expected to start flights to JFK in Q1 of 2016, exactly when JU intends to do the same.
