Hainan Airlines says it currently has no plans to launch flights to Zadar, despite several announcements by Zadar Airport. “We have no official information that our airline will launch flights from Chongqing to Zadar or a Chongqing - Zadar - Rome service. We can confirm that flights from Chongqing to Rome will be introduced on April 28 but there will be no stopover in Zadar”, the carrier’s spokesperson, Xiaopeng Lin, says. Originally, charter flights between Chongqing, in China’s south-west, and Zadar were to launch on May 1 and operate once per week, each Friday, throughout the year. Zadar Airport’s Managing Director, Irena Ćosić, says the planned service has not been cancelled, with flights likely to begin in September instead. “There is no reason to panic. The dates have been somewhat shifted but that does not mean we are giving up on our cooperation with the Chinese. We will continue to lobby hard on the Chinese market”, Ms. Ćosić says.

ReplyDeleteEpic fail Irena Cosic, she said "Hainan will start flying to Zadar", the most important part in all this Hainan never said It.
ReplyDeleteDidn't she made 2-3 trips to China to negotiate everything. She was probably too busy shopping to notice Hainan isn't interested
DeleteThis should've been a main article.
ReplyDeletesurprise surprise.
ReplyDeleteNow in a normal country Irena Cosic would be looking for a new job.
