Livery of the week: Brussels Airlines special

Brussels Airlines and the electronic music festival Tomorrowland have created Amare, the fourth aircraft in the carrier's "Belgian Icons" series. Amare (Unity) will be flying over the next five years. It took nine months to complete the livery. Eight artists worked nonstop for two weeks to airbrush the print onto the Airbus A320. Firstly, a gigantic print of the design was created, before being copied onto the airplane, at 37.6 metres long and 11 metres high. After this process, the colours were mixed and the aircraft was painted by hand.
