Livery of the week: Frontier Airlines

The Denver-based Frontier Airlines introduced its new livery in 2014. The design features wildlife on the tail of its aircraft, including wolves, bears, foxes, penguins, otters and others. In 1994, Frontier developed the animal concept to help distnguish it from other airlines. Each aircraft features the name of the animal on its tail near the nose of the jet for easier identification. The logo, which is placed over the fuselage, was inspired by the carrier's original 1978 scheme.
