Air Croatia to launch Nuremberg flights

Monday, April 20, 2015

Start-up Air Croatia will launch three weekly flights between Zagreb and Nuremberg this summer. The company, using a wet-leased ATR 42 aircraft from Denim Air, will operate the route three times per week starting June 2. Air Croatia, which already runs flights to Milan, Rome and Prague, will also launch services to Mostar. Originally planned to commence on May 3, the service to Mostar has now been pushed back for June 1. Further flight details for the new Zagreb - Nuremberg service can be found here.

can't understand the Sunday morning operation, why not Saturday morning or Sunday evening?

Air Croatia doesn't operate on Saturdays.. for what reason?

Depending on pricing and hopefully a much much better marketing (!) there should be a market for thrice weekly 50-seater flights from NUE region athough they do also compete for star alliance pax from MUC and FRA.

However, Sun morning departure is a no-go here, I fully agree - cannot see more than 10-20 leisure travellers in average.

NUE and OMO may still not be booked on their website as of today - this is quite unprofessional if their routes start in less than 1,5 months. Don't think they'd be happy with a 20-30% LF which I think could be realistic if bookings are not possible by the end of the week.
