Lauda to launch new Zadar service

Ryanair subsidiary Lauda will commence three weekly flights from Vienna to Zadar next summer season. Flights will commence on March 30 and operate each Monday, Wednesday and Friday with an Airbus A320 aircraft. It comes just weeks after Austrian Airlines announced it would take over the route from its group partner Eurowings next summer and maintain services between the two cities on a daily basis. Flight details for Lauda’s new Vienna - Zadar service can be found here.

Are these flights financially helped by Zadar municipality or "udruzeno oglasavanje" fund?

The amount of money they paid 3 years ago for 13 routes is the same as for 21 routes so far for next season. Apparently FR is making nice profit on Zadar routes with ticket prices double than average.
I don't think this is real competition to OS routes. Most of tourists coming with OS are Americans and Asians, while on Lauda from Vienna there are more Slovakians.
