Volotea discontinues one Croatian route

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Volotea has discontinued ticket sales on its seasonal service between Nice and Split. It comes after the airline scheduled operations between Lille and Croatia’s second largest city, which are due to commence this summer. Volotea had previously shelved plans to introduce three new routes to the Croatian coast this summer. Flights between Mykonos and Dubrovnik, Athens and Split, as well as Bari and Split have been cancelled until further notice.

If the war in Ukraine spreads, you can expect more cancellations.
For those of you old enough to remember, when there were demonstrations in Bulgaria, people cancelled trips to Croatia! People who are far away look at a map and say "Uhm, we better avoid that part of the world".
