LOT to restore Rijeka operations

LOT Polish Airlines has announced the resumption of its seasonal flights to Rijeka, making the coastal city its fifth destination in Croatia. The carrier will restore operations between Warsaw and Rijeka from June 5 with one weekly service to run until September 25, each Sunday, with the Embraer 195 aircraft. Furthermore, LOT will resume flights between Zielona Gora, in the country’s west, to Rijeka from July 3 until September 4, with the one weekly service to be operated by the Dash 8 turboprop. Overall, this summer, the Polish national carrier is maintaining operations from Warsaw to Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Rijeka, from Krakow to Split, from Rzeszow to Zadar and from the abovementioned Zielona Gora to Rijeka for a total of eight routes. Tickets are available for purchase through the airline’s website.

    Last year I enjoyed the quick change from the furnace of Rijeka to the human temperatures in a calm foreign destination. :)

    2. You can find many lakes and forests around Zielona Góra. You can also try local wine as they are some vineyards in the area.
