NEWS FLASH

The Independent Commission Against Corruption in Mauritius has raided the headquarters of national carrier Air Mauritius after the company’s CEO, Krešimir Kučko, who formerly led Croatia Airlines, and its Chief Finance Officer (CFO) were suspended from their posts last month. Mr Kučko has been temporarily stood down pending an ongoing investigation after it was alleged that both he and the carrier’s CFO accepted a luxury weekend in Bordeaux paid by an aircraft leasing company that works with Air Mauritius. However, the probe into the CEOs decision-making is now being expanded to include a series of contracts awarded to companies since Mr Kučko was appointed as the head of the national airline last December. General Sales Agent contracts concluded with large foreign firms in different countries in Europe and elsewhere are now being investigated. The Commission wants to establish whether these contracts were inked within the standards of good governance. Krešimir Kučko served as the CEO of Croatia Airlines between 2012 and 2017, and later went on to head Gulf Air before taking up the post at Air Mauritius.
Krasi what you doing ?
ReplyDeleteEx-Yu doing Ex-Yu things
ReplyDeleteThe ETF will replace it. They also want to fly from Mauritius.
ReplyDeleteBoth ETF and TradeAir stalled this year, no idea why, but with market that big, not expanding is a huge red flag, especially with TradeAir where they downsized
DeleteAnd where is your airline?
DeleteAnd just for your info, Bahraini authorities are opening investigation on malversations in Gulf Air. Not saying they are done by KK, but......
ReplyDeletePlease Mauritius, launch an investigation into his time in Croatia Airlines as well! No one in Croatia will..... His sale of Heathrow slots is a national scandal.
ReplyDeleteI was about to say that also. Selling the Heathrow slots, cutting the Gatwick to Pula, Dubrovnik, Zagreb as well as Split to Manchester is scandalous. All those flights used to be completely full! Not to mention all the assets that were sold!
DeleteNemojte tako ljudi! Hrvarska je u EU. Kucko je naucio u Croatiji da radi po eurposkim pravilima. Jedan evro tebi, pa jedan meni, pa njemu, pa opet meni...
DeleteCroatia didn’t run SPU-MAN
DeleteI strongly disagree in cuts, reductions, selling assets, making company smaller and smaller and more and more pathetic, and yes, LHR slots were valuable and it's shame they were sold, but let me just remind you Misetic ruined the company so much and in that many ways that Kucko had to keep them afloat while they were sunk deep already
DeleteWell done, Mauritius. Putting ex-yu countries to shame!!
ReplyDeleteTrail of corruption wherever kradeze "experts" lay their eyes on...
ReplyDeletePot, Mauritius rife with corruption, including air mru calling kettle black. Va savoir as French would say
ReplyDelete?
DeleteWell, he is mates with Milanović, so what do you expect?
ReplyDeleteBravo Mauritius!
ReplyDeleteKučko!
ReplyDeleteDocice i Analiticar na red zbog laznog predstavljanja.
DeleteBad news as always. Why is it that when I start reading about Croatia it's always something bad, corrupt, steeped in fraud. I don't know much about Mauritius, but apparently the government there does not support various stooges with a track record of destroying balkan airlines. But anyway at home we have other pawns working for Germany. Let's hope that one day the country will open up from this corrupt government that is everywhere in our daily life. Damn government.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I've already opened the bottle for a person fed up with corruption, first let's connect the villages then take the A220
