NEWS FLASH

Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism, Simonida Kordić, recently met in Madrid with representatives of the IAG Group, which includes British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus and LEVEL, to discuss the potential launch of Iberia flights between the Spanish capital and Podgorica. IAG noted that an evaluation of key market indicators is currently underway. Both sides highlighted the strong performance and high load factors on Vueling’s newly introduced seasonal service between Barcelona and Tivat. They concluded that a joint promotional campaign in the Spanish market would be essential for the successful establishment of a Madrid - Podgorica route.
