Pristina Airport maintains record passenger run

NEWS FLASH


Pristina Airport has continued its record-breaking performance, handling 458.348 passengers in July, representing an increase of 9.4% on the same month last year. The number of aircraft movements grew 8.1% to 3.298. During the first seven months of the year, the airport welcomed 2.603.451 travellers through its doors, an increase of 15.2% or an additional 344.761 passengers. Growth is expected to continue in August, with capacity levels currently up 20.5%.

      Kosovo haven't highways and it's not in the middle of Europe like Croatia and Zagreb is... and the end of the year Zagreb will have a lot more passengers than Priština

      @anon 15.30. I think he meant the lack of useful highways leading out of Kosovo. There‘s a large gap between Pristina and Nis. And there‘s bascially no Adriatic highway between Skoder and Ploce, Croatia.

    GP has become to Pristina what Wizz is to Skopje. PRN Management is granting them half the market on a silver platter.

    Looking at Wizz holding 2/3 place is insane. They maintain a total of only 4 destinations yet carry over 600k PAX annually.

      I don't think anybody knows for sure. Last time I flew from there I saw some 5-6 aircrafts lined up. Presume they belong to GP as they had no livery, nothing - just plain white color.

    The airport has a low seasonality compared to others. Ideal for low costs who rely on 90+ load factor, yet no base. Jul/Feb of PRN is 1.4x, compared to 1.8x of ZAG

    Crazy how GP is now scheduled seat capacity instead of charter. Yet you can only book through the famous travel agencies. I am not a fan.
