Air Serbia hiring in Banja Luka

Friday, January 22, 2016

Air Serbia will be hiring new cabin crew members in Banja Luka for the first time. An open day will be held at the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate for Civil Aviation (Vojvode Pere Krece bb 78000) on Wednesday, February 3, between 09.00 and 17.00 CET. Those successful at the open day will be invited to attend an assessment day on February 4. Interested candidates must register, bring their CVs, have a high school diploma and should be fluent in written and spoken English. A full list of requirements and the application form can be found here. Air Serbia recently committed itself to adding an additional 100 cabin crew members to its workforce in a campaign dubbed "New Smiles of Air Serbia". Air Serbia's CEO, Dane Kondić, said at the time, "With the growth of the Air Serbia network and the recent announcement of New York flights, this is the right time for Air Serbia to welcome onboard more cabin crew".

Are they planning to base an aircraft in Banjaluka? If not, isn't this an expensive exercise? They would need to get work permits for these people. They would need to provide them with lodging. Isn't it easier to get cabin crew in Serbia proper? Or is there something more to this story?

WTF is wrong with you ? Do Serbs only live in Serbia ? I don't think so ... there are many in surrounding areas and countries - such as Srpska and Montenegro ... After thorough recruitment in BG and other parts of Serbia, the airline is now moving further afield to look for good people, which is a good move. Aside frm it being an employment exercise, it also creates a good buzz for the brand in these local markets, generating a lot of local PR and further helping to promote the airline ... Another good and smart move

Air Serbia can hire Serbs from all the Serbian lands. I don't see anything wrong with that.

  3. Republic of Srpska and Sebria have bilateral agreement when comes to economy and one of those is employment. Right thing to do is to hire some crew from there as well. Way to go AS. Very proud you look after your Serbs in the region

"Na posao u Srbiji, pod istim uslovima kao i državljani Srbije, mogu da računaju oni Srbi koji imaju dvojno državljanstvo, dok za one koji ga nemaju važe uslovi koje za strance određuje Nacionalna služba za zapošljavanje. To znači da kanditat mora da ima stalno nastanjenje ili privremeni boravak u Srbiji."

Dane Kondic is originally from Srpska, this is why it's happening there.

Sorry to disappoint you, but he was born and raised in Australia his entire life

There is nothing to disappoint me, his roots are from there and that's why he is in BNX so often and that's why that route was launched back in 2013 among the first ones.

Anon 2.25 you make it sound as if it's something bad to be from Srpska.
