Rijeka Airport expects to see 10% passenger growth this year following a record 2015. Last year, the airport welcomed some 140.000 passengers, an increase of 30% compared to the year before. Furthermore, the airport saw a 70% jump in the number of operated flights. During 2016, additional services are expected to Scandinavia, while Rijeka also anticipates to maintain domestic flights during the 2016/17 winter season. Currently, only European Coastal Airlines operates services to Rijeka during the winter months.
