NEWS FLASH

Skopje Airport welcomed 445.085 passengers in August, registering its busiest month ever. The figure represents an increase of 34.8% on the same month last year. The strong growth is being primarily fuelled by Wizz Air, which has launched several new routes and increased frequencies on other services. During the January - August period, the airport handled 2.687.020 travellers, up 29.7%, or an extra 615.244 customers. Skopje Airport is the fastest-growing airport in the former Yugoslavia this year in terms of additional passengers.

I think 4 million passenger is possible this year, witih September the total number will be 3.1m and if each of the next three months ends with 300k pax than 4M is reachable.

Skopje will reach 4 million this year if this continues which obviously is great trajectory. From April the airport is hitting 300k + passengers every single month and September will be 400k + as well , so 4 millio is reachable number

Happy to see SKP hits 400k + pass in the summer months something that probably nobody believed in the past few years behind. September will be 400k + and rest of the months 300k so the airport have a great chance for first time to reach 4 milion pass which is really amazing. I wish great success and maintain this growth, and hopefully new airlines and routes to enter the airport in future✈️🍀

4m are not happening, for that you need a growth in Nov and Dec but there will be none, even a minus is possible.

Today Wizzair cancelled the whole expansion during the xmas and NYE period, wiped out 11 weekly flights compared to yesterday,

maybe they add something new but i remain sceptical

It is Impossible to continue at that level, do you not get it? The Budapest boardroom that decides Skopje's fate would have to discover a whole lot of new passengers and places to fly to. Skopje will never ever reach 10million even by the late 2030s. The market is too small.
