NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia is promoting its new non-stop service between Belgrade and New York with videos on Times Square, the airline said in a statement. The carrier is advertising its long-haul product and service on a giant digital sign in the middle of Times Square, above the Pedestrian Plaza where more than 300.000 people pass by each day. The digital billboard stretches over an entire city block from 45th to 46th Street and offers more than 15.000 feet of advertising surface across four panels. Air Serbia is boasting six videos lasting fifteen seconds each on the billboard that showcase its new five weekly service between Belgrade and New York. The airline also recreated an iconic photo made by its predecessor JAT Yugoslav Airlines, showcasing its crew at a crossing in Times Square (pictured below).

Wouldn't it be more effective if they also mentioned that they offer connections to Athens, Thessaloniki, Sofia... you know, cast a wider net?

JU has a great opportunity to have great loads all year if it targets successfully all those passengers flying to Greece, Israel, Cyprus, Lebanon on top of tourists and diaspora of ExYu countries.

    One question Admin.
Is this the first time we got a NEWS FLASH on weekend? I noticed that there were no such news on weekends normally.

    Kind regards,
    Haplek

I think they should spend as much time on propaganda as they should on, on time performance.

Air Serbia OTP is currently running at 92% - well above industry average.

      So what's the problem ?

Look at the delays during the last two days, not just New York.

Every second flight is delayed by min 30min...joke about time continues! Amazing how that can't be fixed!?!? It is a shame since other than that they have a pretty decent overall product.

On time performance with JU is excellent, and as mentioned above, it is above industry average. JFK 2nd flight has started bad which automatically made todays flight delayed. Tomorrow there is no JFK flight so on Monday it should be back to normal.

The previous days, BEG suffered from bad weather, which forced a couple flights divert to TSR for a few hours.

Today, most airlines have had issues with on time departures and is not exclusive to JU.

JU on time performance has been relatively bad for a few days now and that's because of aircraft reliability, especially with the atrs.
