NEWS FLASH

Egyptian carrier Nesma Airlines will introduce daily services between Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Sarajevo on a seasonal summer basis starting June 23, a statement from the investment and development company, the Al Shiddi Group, reads. Flights will run until September 24 with both Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. The Al Shiddi Group notes that the flights provide an ideal stopover prior to onward journeys to Croatia and Austria. Flights are soon expected to go on sale through Nesma Airlines' website. Bosnia and Herzegovina is becoming an increasingly popular destination for tourists from the Middle East. Arab investors are building homes and hotels around Sarajevo and heavily promoting the destination to middle class families looking for cheaper alternatives to Western Europe, fuelling point to point travel from the Middle East to Sarajevo, particularly during the summer months.

Not a priority.. SJJ needs double daily to BEG, flights to FRA, CDG & AMS with SkyTeam and ideally some other Western European destination as LHR or FCO

Why on earth would Sarajevo need a double daily flight to Belgrade? One is obviously more than enough.
