Podgorica Airport has registered its strongest May on record by handling 79.581 travellers. The figure represents growth of 19.1% compared to last year. During the first five months of 2017, Podgorica Airport welcomed 305.663 travellers, up 24.2%. Of those, 152.148 were arriving passengers and 153.515 departing. Podgorica Airport has witnessed a number of new destinations launched this summer including Budapest (Wizz Air), Warsaw (LOT Polish Airlines), Athens (Aegean Airlines) and Stockholm Skavsta (Ryanair).

    Wizz announced today that the frequency of some ex-yu routes from Budapest will be raised from 2x to 3x weekly (from August to Tirana and from November to Skopje/Podgorica).

      Great news. I am glad for Podgorica. Arrival times from Budapest will be better, there will be more oppportunities to travel on after a short walk or taxi ride. It is a shame there is no bus transport though. All other ex-YU capitals have such a service except for Prishtina.

      Because there is 5euros taxi for downtown..thats why..as i wrote here before... dont take any taxi from airport.. just register here, order the cab for you and watch on the map his way to you.
