NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines has been advised to resume operations between Zagreb and Podgorica following talks between the Croatian Ambassador to Montenegro, Veselko Grubišić, and the Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković. Last year, Croatia Airlines' CEO Jasminko Bajić and the head of operator Airports of Montenegro, Danilo Orlandić, met to discuss the matter. "A nonstop service between Zagreb and Podgorica would go towards strengthening cooperation between our two countries and the public. I intend to bring this up in talks with Croatia Airlines' management", Ambassador Grubišić said. The Croatian carrier discontinued flights between the two capitals in February 2012. At the time, the service was maintained three times per week with the Bombardier Dash 8 turboprop aircraft.

Yes, OU absolutely needs another route like OMO which would fly empty. OU has absolutely nothing to offer and local demand is not there to secure flights. With JP adding more flights things are becoming even less certain for OU in Montenegro.

Montenegrins have their own sea coast and last time I checked ZAG was not on the coast.
It would be really interesting some to fly TGD-ZAG-SPU-ZAG-TGD

If OU times the flights correctly it could feed its network to northern and western Europe from ZAG with Montenegro traffic.
That would be good both for OU and especially for Montenegro passengers who would have an extra option for travel and better access to Star Alliance network.

What more can OU offer that JU / BEG does not offer already including new 9 destinations starting from June 2019?
Maybe only LIS but OS beats them there
