NEWS FLASH
Banja Luka Airport started the year off on a strong note by handling 8.838 passengers, representing an increase of 634.7%. The number of aircraft movements stood at 118. The growth was fuelled by Ryanair, which currently maintains three routes to Banja Luka and will launch its fourth destination this April. "In 2019, we anticipate for Banja Luka Airport to handle over 130.000 passengers, which would make it a record year", the airport said.
Great job BNX. It's really nice to see them grow like this. They announced a surprise for autumn so let's see what they have planned! Berlin should do really well.
ReplyDeletei hope rynair will open routes from Eindhoven to Banja Luka
DeleteCongratulations! Charter flights should help as well.
ReplyDeleteSo does it mean these 8.000 would have flown out of TZL, SJJ and ZAG if there were no FR flights?
DeleteAre you being sarcastic or..?
DeleteAko procitas malo bolje, skuzit ces i sam da je sarkastican. "Ogroman broj zapadnih destinacija".
DeleteThey wouldn´t fly at all - they flew cause it´s 20€ return.
DeleteSJJ - gate to MENA and Turkey.
DeleteBNX and TZL - gate to West.
:)
BNX huge growth is also at the expense of JU and BEG.
DeleteA lot of Bosnian Serbs took a bus to BEG or JU's connecting flight to travel to Europe via RoS.
With ZAG, TZL and OSI very few people went to Belgrade. They go if their destination isn't offered from one of the three cities. Belgrade is mostly unaffected.
DeleteIf they flew, they would have flown from Zagreb most likely, or possibly connected via Belgrade. More than likely many would have driven or taken a bus.

Delete"A lot of Bosnian Serbs took a bus to BEG or JU's connecting flight to travel to Europe via RoS."
You made it sounds like people (B-Serbs in this case) choose airports they fly from based on their ethnicity.
The statement sounds distasteful, if not retarded. When I read stuff like that, it makes me feel good I don't live in the Balkans:)
I wonder if he is even from the region as no one refers to Serbia as RoS.
It seems that CRL not perfoming very well in January from 9838 seats they sold about 8150 all flights of RYR
ReplyDeleteThat's a LF of 83% in January which isn't that bad actually, especially since they pay virtually nothing at the airport.
DeleteActually that performance in great!
DeleteIt is an 83% load factor which no exyu airline achieves.
It is a anew route and it is January!
Fantastic news, extra revenue from taxes will reduce financial losses of the airport.
ReplyDeletePosle mnogo godina Banja Lucki aerodrom vaskrsava! Predivno...
ReplyDeleteKraljevacka Morava uzlece na Vidovdan. Jos 120 dana...
Idemo Banja Luka i Kraljevo
ReplyDeleteSo beauty. So natural. BNX and KVO airports. ✈☺✈💒✈✨🔅✈🌍🌏🌎✈
