Skopje Airport saw its passenger numbers grow 4.6% in January by handling 152.292 travellers. The figure represents Skopje's busiest start to the year on record. Macedonia's largest airport is expected to see above average growth in the months to come, with low cost carrier Wizz Air to base in the fifth aircraft in the city and launch four new routes, including Baden Baden, Bremen, Turku and Larnaca.
