Wow nice growth for BNX. I heard the charter season performed quite well, hopefully JU adds even more flights next year!

RyanAir had issue last Sunday at BNX. The flight was delayed from Sunday evening to Monday afternoon and the passengers were held in the airport building until Monday 3am. It's a shame for both airport and the company because they haven't organised and informed on time.

First of all RYR had small incident when landed, burst tyre then the second aircraft came from Bergamo B738 with mechanics to change the tyre! As I heard the passengers went to the hotel. Fixed aircraft went to Bergamo empty.

Passengers went to hotel around 2am after plain from Bergamo landed. 6 hours after planned departure they were told that flight is cancelled until tomorrow. They were locked in small room after control point without enough seats and without possibility to buy anything to eat or drink. Not to mention lack of informations during the evening.

Happens to all airlines. At least passengers didn't have to go through this:

hahaha didn't FR cancel SPU some years ago and rebooked passengers on the next flight that was some 4 days later?

At least FR came back for their passengers in BNX, remember the W6 scandal in BVA when they just decided not to return for the 80 stranded passengers? That's much worse in my opinion.

Great news for Banja Luka airport!
The result we expected due to Ryanair flights and boosted charters, but this result shows that BNX has the potential for much more.

In my opinion there is great potential for:
    Zurich
    Wien
    Goetheborg
    Malmo
    Dusseldorf

    SEASONAL:
    London
    Amsterdam
    Copenhagen
    Paris
    Moscow
    Istanbul

    CHARTERS
    Tivat
    Egypt
    increase Turkish and Greek

The airport management must urgently negotiate with:
    wizzair
    easy jet
    volotea
    edelweiss
    pobeda

Especially since ryanair is having problems delivering new grounded boing 737 max planes

Somehow i have a feeling that Banja Luka for Swiss could be a success like their flights to Nish .
A second option would be Basel by Wizz Air .
Actually Wizz Air would be perfect for Banja Luka ...
