NEWS FLASH

The Sarajevo-based FlyBosnia carried 20.000 passengers since commencing scheduled flights in May. The carrier aims to handle 100.000 travellers in 2020. “FlyBosnia is currently flying to Riyadh, Jeddah, Bahrain, and Kuwait while regular flights to London, Rome and Paris are expected to launch over the next three months. This will boost economic development”, the company said. It added, “FlyBosnia flight crew are mostly made up of nationals from Bosnia and Herzegovina with some of them returning to work in their home country as FlyBosnia is one of the main economic drivers of the domestic air transport sector”. The carrier recently scheduled flights between Sarajevo and London, which are to launch next month, and has also announced plans to serve the British capital from Mostar.

Did FlyBosnia start offering connecting flights from London to Middle East via Sarajevo, for example London-Sarajevo-Bahrain?

No idea but I hope they start cleaning those terminal toilets before transfer passengers start arriving. Then again, those that fly with them probably won't be the most picky.

I agree with the above comment, those departure lounge toilets are a disgrace to the airport. There is no excuse for them to be left like that. Before they add more flights new toilets need to be fitted urgently.

Don't they have like two, three cubicles in the departure area in each toilet?

They have 2 cubicles for men and 2 for women in the departure area, and are very dirty. I saw excrement on the floor last year. The cleaners don't seem to clean them very well. . Adequate toilet facilities should be made available before expanding passenger numbers.

I wonder how London service will work with so expensive fares and such a remote airport?
