NEWS FLASH

British Airways will temporarily suspend operations between London Heathrow and Zagreb next month. The carrier plans to run its final flight between the two cities on November 7 before putting the route on hiatus until December 2. However, British Airways is yet to revise its December operations, making further changes possible. Croatia Airlines will continue to link the two capitals, with four weekly rotations currently planned for the month of November.

Of course, if you are a tourist or local why should you pay €250 to fly on BA or OU that have barely any service when FR can fly you to London for a fraction of that price?

Partially it is FR effect, but not entirely. It has more to do with covid crisis and the lowest months in aviation generally which are Nov and Feb. They will be back, long haul transfer market from HR is big and FR cannot cater to it, but BA will continue

But there is something we must be aware of and that is KLM. They are extremely aggressive in HR and this winter they plan double daily flights.
Also I think long-haul market isn't that big right now since OS reduced VIE and so did OU and LH did not resume MUC and it reduced FRA to 10 weekly.

Agree about AFKL group, especially KL. For OS and LH, they have OU to do the job for them for peanuts within "alliance". And once covid scam is over, everything will be back to normal. Don't think BA will miss its share in ZAG despite FR, KL and *

Neither OU or FR reduced frequencies from London to Zagreb. So I doubt British Airways' decision has much to do with Covid.

I might be wrong but I think FR actually increased their flights to London as well as to Charleroi. So it seems like Croats can't get enough of them and their affordable fares.

Hajde ti prestani visjeti 24 sata dnevno na ovom portalu i get a job and get a life!

      Postovani,
O tome sto sve porezni obveznici placaju pravomocno osudjenoj kriminalnoj organizaciji, ukljucivo troskove OU, radije ne bih, to zna narisati i mali Ivica u prvom razredu. S postovanjem, Srbislav Radosavljevic, Cacak

November is a traditionally weak month in many parts of Europe. Also, there is currently a huge spike in the number of COVID cases in UK.

COVID is also growing in Croatia which is in top 4 EU countries where people are refusing the vaccine.
