NEWS FLASH

SunExpress will upgrade its seasonal summer flights from Antalya and Izmir to Skopje to year-round operations. The carrier plans to maintain two weekly services from Antalya with the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft and one weekly rotation from Izmir to the Macedonian capital with the B737-800 jet throughout the upcoming winter season, which begins on October 29 and runs until March 30. Tickets for the winter are now available for purchase through the carrier’s website. As a result, Skopje will be linked to four airports in Turkey during the winter season, with Antalya and Izmir complementing operations to Istanbul and Sabiha Gokcen airports. Services to Turkey will be maintained by three different carriers, including SunExpress, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines.

Many people ask the question why there are no flights to Ankara? Based on what, is there demand? Ankara is not on the sea.
