Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is increasing operations between the capital of the United Arab Emirates and Belgrade this coming winter season, which begins on October 29. The airline will serve the route four times per week with its 239-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft, up from the initially planned two weekly service. As a result, the carrier will boast 956 seats each way between the two capitals. The increase comes after the airline announced the suspension of its route between Abu Dhabi and Sarajevo over the winter.
But it was 4 last winter.

ReplyDeleteFinally, they should leave Sarajevo, the worst company ever. The attitude towards passengers is disastrous. I am glad that Fly Dubai finished them off this summer, 3 daily flights are a big win for Fly Dubai. Unfortunately, WizzAir starts London - Sarajevo from October ...

Yes, SJJ is brimming with airlines fighting tooth and nail to launch new lines, it totally doesn't need Wizz or anyone else. Wishful thinking and Balkan-style grandiosity delusions at their finest

DeleteLast year they flew 4 times a week, this season every day. Fly Dubai last season once a day, this season 3 times a day. Flynnas last season 4 times a week To Ryadh, this season daily, 2 times a week to Jeddah this season 4 times a week. Jazeera last season 4 times a week, this season daily. Salam Air last season 2 times a week, this season 4 times a week. Let's add another 4 times a week Fly Deal from Saudi Arabia and 4 times a week Kuwait Airways as well as Qatar. Are you sure that the demand is "reduced"?

DeleteGreat marketing bs about the neo aircraft operating the route while everyone know that they are replacing the neos of Wizz Abu Dhabi with ceos as the "new" engines are being killed by heat and sand. Four of the ten aircraft was already replaced and the fifth one is on her way. By October hardly any neo will be around in AUH.

DeleteIf cold and wet would killed them they would change the neos of Wizz UK. Or the ones in their bases in (and around) the Baltics. But they don't. What you think might be the reason?
DeleteCan someone explains toe why Sarajevo scares every European airline? It's been on my fly list for years but no airlines seem to want to go there from any European city and those who do demand fares closer to ones u pay to go to Africa or South America 🤣
