NEWS FLASH

Dubrovnik Airport is in talks with United over extending the airline’s seasonal summer flights between Newark and the coastal city by a month. United recently announced it would maintain daily flights between the two from May 1 until September 25 in 2025, up from this year’s four weekly rotations. Dubrovnik Airport’s CEO, Viktor Šober, said, “Currently we are negotiating with United over the potential extension of flights into October, which would operate with a lower number of weekly frequencies”. United utilises its 231-seat Boeing 767-400 aircraft on the route.

There are obviously people who choose Dubrovnik over Miami, so get over it.

Wow so much hate for Miami from Dubrovnik fans. Hope Dubrovnik will get service extension and all the best to DBV!

13:57 you can't make business decisions according to 1 year's weather forecast. This year is an anomaly (although to be honest this anomaly is hapenning more and more often), Dubrovnik in October is normally much colder and more rainy, with rain that can fall for a week without stopping. I was born in the end of October in Dubrovnik, and throughout my life almost always celebrated my birthday in long sleeves, and often with a jacket too. This year it looks like the celebration will be on the beach :) But even this year I could say that we got this nice and sunny October as a compensation for a very shitty and cold second part of September which was also an anomaly.

Lets break it. Egypt has charter flights and scheduled flights to all airports next to the sea with resorts, right? Cause people want to go there, if they want to visit Cairo during their stay there are always packages and one-two day tours. Same is with Turkey and Tunis. So why in Croatia would people arrive in ZAG instead of their main holiday destination? There are daily flights to ZAG from all over Croatia plus there are buses.
