NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines is further growing its codeshare partnership with ITA Airways, after the latter officially became part of the Lufthansa Group last week. Following the initial expansion of their codeshare agreement in July of last year, Croatia Airlines has now added its designator code and flight numbers onto the Italian flag carrier’s services from Rome to Bari (OU5310/11), Brindisi (OU5308/09), Catania (OU5312/13), Genoa (OU5314/15), Milan Linate (OU5316/17), Turin (OU5318/19), and Venice (OU5320/21). The Croatian carrier has its codes on one flight per day from Rome to these destinations.

      Hahahahahahahaha, codeshares on domestic services reachable through one-stop service, probably for some 500 euros. Literally unstoppable. In stupidity and incompetence.

    Admin, love the new visuals, but the new post about Wizzair capacity growth shows up 2 times for me on the main page? Error with the new setup or client-side?

      Thank you. Yes, you are right, it should be fixed by the end of the day along with a few other issues.

    Not surprising after they became LH Group.

    Great, now you can fly ZAG-SPU-FCO-LIN on OU instead of ZAG-BGY on FR.

      Some people will still do it because of the frequent flyer points, or because the company has an agreement with Lufthansa etc. The real competition is ZAG-MUC-LIN/MXP. People who have tickets paid for them or who are adamant not to fly with a LCC will not fly ZAG-BGY.

      This makes no sense unless ITA or OU are planning on introducing non-stop flights between the two capitals.

      People who have miles to redeem would do it, trust me. It is a very tiny number of people but there are genuinely people who would be ready to take this itinerary.

      @13.55
      You don't do codeshares for "very tiny number of people". As simple as that. But, hey, it's OU, only sky is the limit. In stupidity.

      I would happily fly it. Anything has to be better then Ryanair!

    Hi Vlad! It's quicker, and knowing OU prices cheaper, to drive car Zagreb to Milano, instead to fly ZAG-SPU-FCO-LIN. Not to mention Malpensa. Not to mention people from Rijeka and Istra. Not to mention cheap FR nonstops from ZAG to Italy. So once again nothing new from OU, just permanent incompetence and stupidity
