NEWS FLASH

Freebird Airlines, operating on behalf of the RSD Reisen tour operator, began the previously announced extensive charter flight program from Europe to Skopje, which is expect to bring 35.000 tourists to the country. The flights will operate on a daily basis from February until June, and from October until December. Freebird will bring tourists from thirteen different European cities from Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, including Hamburg, Hannover, Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Leipzig, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Manchester, London Gatwick, Paris, Lyon and Marseille.

Nejat Kurt, the General Manager of airport operator TAV Macedonia, said, “We hope that all 35.000 tourists arriving daily at Skopje Airport on flights from thirteen different destinations across Germany, France, and the United Kingdom will have a memorable experience, enriched with warm hospitality, cultural discoveries, and culinary delights. As TAV Airports, a member of Groupe ADP, we take great pride in welcoming new airlines, tour operators, and destinations. As an airport operator, our goal is to enhance both hospitality and service quality, ensuring a seamless experience for both airlines and passengers”. The CEO of RSD Reisen, Horst Zhifkovits, added, “Advance bookings are looking very strong, with over 25.000 customers from Germany, Austria, France, and the UK already booked for this study trip. By the end of the season, we expect to bring a total of 35.000 guests. I am confident that they will enjoy your beautiful country, its rich history, and the warm hospitality of its people - just as I did during my visit to North Macedonia”.

The deal is to operate outside the season in Macedonia. In summer peak this operator holds mostly Dubrovnik.

@11.18 your "research" is wrong. Their DBV charters were only during winter and guess what they were also organized by RSD. Dubrovnik has almost zero charters in summer

@11:43. Correct. Time schedule, as indicated in article, was exactly identical to one used for Dubrovnik. No summer flights
