NEWS FLASH

Due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, all flights to and from Israel have been suspended until further notice following the closure of the country’s airspace. This has impacted flights from Tel Aviv to Belgrade, Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, Tivat, Zagreb, and Zadar. Israel’s flag carrier, El Al, including its leisure brand Sun d’Or, as well as Arkia, are evacuating their respective fleets from Israel. El Al has suspended bookings until June 30.

Services from former Yugoslav markets to the Gulf continue to operate, albeit with alternate routings, primarily via Egypt and Saudi Arabia, in order to avoid the airspace of Iran and Iraq, which have also been closed. Jordan has closed its airspace as well. During Israeli attacks on Iranian sites overnight, a Flydubai service from Belgrade bound for Dubai was forced to divert to Yerevan. However, today’s flights have operated normally using the different flightpaths.
