ReplyDeleteThis is the result of yearlong investments by Croatia into top quality accomodation infrastructure and now it pays off. Swiss tourists are more and more off to Croatia for vacations and the feedback we receive, is on a high score level, especially in terms of hotels and the scenic coast. Now u can fly from ZRH to Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and Tivat. Not to forget the Brač flights from Altenrhein. So the entire coast is now connected to Switzerland and a total of 18 destinations are being served from Swiss airports.
ReplyDeleteActually, we’re not. Over the past few years, we’ve found that we get much better quality for the money in places like Greece, Spain, and Italy.
DeleteBut tourism arrivals are still growing I think. July was a minus from what I hve seen, compared to JUL24 but overall 2025 still plus. Allthough I hvent seen AUG and SEP. But in terms of hotel infrastructure CRO is really good, same as MNE and BEG. But I know the situation with the prices, is unpleasant, especially for you locals.
DeleteBravo for Kvarner.
ReplyDeleteLong long way to go until Bravo but pleasant surprise anyhow

DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteWell done RJK.
ReplyDeleteMore EX-YU airports should have flights like these, not necessarily Swiss to Zürich, but generally legacy carriers flying to hubs, especially during peak summer.
