NEWS FLASH
Montenegro anticipates becoming the 28th member state of the European Union in 2028. In line with that ambition, the Montenegrin government has branded Air Montenegro aircraft with “28by28 - The Next EU Member” stickers.
The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, said, “We are bringing Europe to Montenegro and taking Montenegro to Europe! Across the European Union, our national airline carries a clear message - Montenegro is the next member of the EU”. The CEO of Air Montenegro, Vuk Stojanvoić, added, “These aircraft carrying the message that Montenegro is the next member of the European Union bear more than just stickers. They carry a symbol of connection, openness and confidence in our country’s future. The government has deliberately entrusted this message to Air Montenegro, demonstrating that Montenegro’s European path is not merely a political objective, but a living practice, reflected in high standards and responsibility. Day by day, the national carrier builds trust and connects people, operating in line with European rules and values”.

DeleteCongratulations Montenegro!
ReplyDeletebold move!
ReplyDeleteI think it’s too early for this sticker. There is no political decision for admission of new member states and definitely not in 2028.
ReplyDeleteThe more probable scenario is that Ukraine, Montentengro, Albania and Macedonia join together without the voting and veto rights.
Cringe. Imagine cheerleading the EU like it’s 1999
ReplyDeleteAs a Montenegrin, I find this childish.
