Zagreb Airport registers busiest February

NEWS FLASH


Zagreb Airport handled 281.489 passengers in February, representing an increase of 7.8% year-on-year. The figure was achieved despite a decline in the number of aircraft movements by 0.7%. During the first two months of the year, the airport welcomed 578.350 travellers, up 6.8%, or an additional 36.707 passengers.

      Yeah. I asked them about electronic gates, they have 3 gates installed, but not operational yet, they'll eventually increase this to 8, but atm, they're just doing testing and trails. When they'll have gates operational no one knows, I asked the one of the head immigration officers on the day as I was passing immigration. I guess they'll close EU/Cro booths once the gates become operational as they'll need 3 officers (one per gate) to operate it.

    Its all over now! When, and not if, oil prices become astronomical, a lot of planes will be collecting dust on their respective tarmacs. Just when you get a bit of wind under your wings, it gets cut off
