Croatia Airlines is training LOT Polish Airlines pilots on the Airbus A220 ahead of the aircraft’s introduction into the Polish carrier’s fleet. The initial group includes instructors who will subsequently train other LOT crews. Polish pilots are also gaining experience on scheduled Croatia Airlines flights. “We are working with the Croatian airline to train our pilots so that, by the time these aircraft arrive in Poland, we will have a large number of well-trained pilots”, LOT CEO Michal Fijol said. He added that LOT had spoken to several carriers, but Croatia Airlines proved to be the best partner. LOT has ordered forty A220s, with deliveries scheduled between 2027 and 2031.

ReplyDeleteThis is not good news, because nowbody in Europe instead of OU will use new aircraft for pilot trining to build a lot of flight cycles. But OU need every Euro, so they do not care what will be next summer.
