All those shiny new planes already producing results
ReplyDeleteSo FR gets no blame?
DeleteYes, FR gets no blame because FR has average LF of almost 90 % while super successful Intergalactic Operator with Bright and shiny and their big windows and USB stuff still flies half empty with average LF of some 60 %
DeleteNo their credit is just when the number go up!
DeleteYes, because they increase not only capacity like OU but number of passengers carried, which is not spectacular but still growing
DeleteSKP-ZAG this morning 41pax only, ZAG-SKP yesterday late arrival 63pax on A223…
DeleteOuch! Thats 30% LF
DeleteNot too bad, it's a thin route after all.
Deletewait til Wizz or Ryanair launch it and see what is thin
Delete@13.26 may as well share other routes if you know
Delete@14:19 it need not be a 'thin' route on the right equipment or priced accordingly.
DeleteOr offering connections with proper waves in serious network
DeleteWhat's / who is driving the drop? (which carriers, not alledgedly people don't want to fly to ZAG)

DeleteHow is this ok?
ReplyDeleteZagreb added only 53k passengers for the first 8 months of 2026. What is airport operator doing to improve numbers?
ReplyDeleteNada muchaco, nada. OU tambien. I've been speaking about it for years
DeleteI don't think that OU is only to blame. How many new airlines or routes did the airport operater attract this year? Not a lot as far as I know. I'm starting to believe this is a strategy to avoid airport extension.
Delete@Mario
DeleteI wrote airport operator did nothing. OU too. I didn't write OU was the only to blame. But despite the airport, which is not doing the job properly, OU which has been missing the opportunity to create real hub in ZAG with decent network, bears the biggest responsibility, no matter how everyone in Croatia is silent about it. Never ever can "guest" airline create that much traffic as the home based one. Unfortunately the one based in ZAG is midget and shameful feeder, which among the other factors, significantly contributes to low and bad results of ZAG
“ How many new airlines or routes did the airport operater attract this year?” Ask Fraport and Mr Krasnja about it - he will explain you that the operator has nothing to do
DeleteWith the connectivity of the airport it operates. Zero. They are there just as an infrastructure! Seems like not only the pax but also thr virus of stupidity spill-overed.
Spilled-over*
Delete@PIR - I know this. A national airline should be the one that mostly is driving the biggest growth, improve connectivity, try to build a hub etc. Sooner or later I believe corruption will come to an end at OU.
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteRound two mate.
DeleteDo you speak English Bravo Hrvatska? Did you understand the word "decline" in the headline? Or is your Party duty to hail Bravo Hrvatska no matter what the information and numbers are?
DeleteIt's really interesting to see how that magic 5 million number can't be reached.. OU is shielding the concession holders hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteBe thankful for Slovenian passengers using ZG airport. (just look visitor parking lot) as of next year Ljubljana is expanding their airport operations, and basicly doubling their daily flight numbers including direct flight's to US. So this numbers for Zagreb airport are expected to decline even more.
ReplyDeleteHere we go again. Emirates were in ZAG only because of Slovenes, who are rich and way above all other ex-yu people. Kakšen malomeščan!!!!
