Passengers boarding a flight at Dubrovnik Airport
In response to growing demand on behalf of British tourists, British Airways will increase its number of flights from London to Dubrovnik's ÄŒilipi Airport from 4 weekly to 11 weekly flights, an airline representative has announced in Dubrovnik. During the past summer season, British Airways transported around 50.000 passengers on flights between the two cities. From April 1 to September 30 September that number increased by 90%, a development that resulted in a decision to increase the number of such flights. British Airways Manager for South-eastern Europe Christian Fornaschon said that the airline would introduce special flights from London Gatwick to JFK airport in New York from October 27 which will, with special offers, attract passengers from Dubrovnik wishing to fly to New York.
