Summer changes for Adria, B&H and Montenegro Airlines
Tomorrow, the 2012 Northern Hemisphere summer season begins. Following on from last week, when changes and additions were published for Croatia Airlines and Jat Airways, this week amendments for Adria Airways, B&H Airlines and Montenegro Airlines can be viewed.

Adria Airways’ summer season sees a big reduction in operations compared to last year. Flights to Paris, Warsaw, Toulon and Banja Luka were all suspended last year. Seasonal flights to Athens, Dublin, Kiev and Stockholm won’t be resuming this summer. The airline will reduce frequencies on regional flights with services to Priština, Tirana and Skopje taking a hit. On the other hand, the Slovenian carrier will launch new flights to London Luton Airport, increase frequencies to Copenhagen and operate numerous charters.

B&H Airlines will operate flights only to Istanbul, Copenhagen and Zurich via Banja Luka. The airline currently has a single ATR72 in operation. However, if its Turkish part owner manages to make amends with the Bosnian government other aircraft could be returned to the B&H fleet which would lead to some destinations being resumed.

Finally, Montenegro Airlines will reduce frequencies to several destinations. The most notable is a reduction of nine weekly flights from Podgorica to Zurich. The airline will also halve the number of flights to Moscow. However, the Montenegrin carrier will introduce a new service from Tivat to London Gatwick and will strengthen frequencies to Paris.

  4. Ex-Yu have you even bothered to check some sources? As of mid-April/beginning of May for B&H Airlines, Istanbul is 14x and not 7x.
    Zurich is 7x and not 4x
    Copenhagen is 3x, and not 1x.

    Some simple research could have given you the right answer. Not so difficult right?

    1. None of that will be happening until a second aircraft arrives. So, until it does, frequencies stay as they are. Only a month ago B&H was supposed to launch many new destinations, none of which have materialised.

    2. That is because core routes such as IST and CPH had to be taken over by the ATR, since the Airbus is not coming back.

      Even so, 1st week of April still shows 2 flights to CPH, second week as well I believe, wehereas ZRH is down to 3 in the first week, so there still are some discrepancies

    Btw 28mar marks 20th anniversary of JP operations to Zurich. special celebrations will be held with inviting 135 guests to a 1 hour JP A 319 flt over the swiss alps, departing/landing in ZRH.

    Ex YU: JP will have 1-2 TLV flights during some of the summer months.

    Don't you all think that Wizz Air should start BEG-Kiev if Aerosvit fails to do so? I'm sure the line can sustain a minimum twice flights a week. That's definitely the missing market from BEG.

    So what does everyone think of Ryanair flying to Montenegro!!! I think I will believe it when I see it!!! But hopefully it will happen, not sure why Milan? London and Brussels make sense, why not a German city and maybe a Scandinavian capital with big ex-yu populations!!

      Belgrade only gets Qatar and Norvegian to Copenhague...

      Only two new routes in the whole summer!

      No Spanair to Barcelona.
      No AirBaltic to Riga.
      No Malev to Budapest.
      No CSA to Prague.

      This year is already finished for bad before it even started!

    When Wizzair opened a base in Belgrade the Serbian government was so in panic that from then on they block all foreign airlines as much as possible from opening new routes...
