Eurolot to launch Zagreb flights

Eurolot to inaugurate daily service to Zagreb

Poland’s Eurolot will launch flights from Warsaw to Zagreb this winter season, connecting the two cities for the first time in years. The airline, wholly owned by national carrier LOT Polish Airlines, will run daily flights between the two capitals with its Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft. Services will be inaugurated on Sunday, October 26. Eurolot will face no direct competition on the route. As a result of the new service, Zagreb becomes the third city in the former Yugoslavia with scheduled flights to the Polish capital, joining Ljubljana, where services to Warsaw are operated by Adria Airways, and Air Serbia and LOT, which maintain flights from Belgrade.

Commenting on the new service, Eurolot CEO, Tomasz Balcerzak, said, “Eurolot’s flexibility allows us to respond to new opportunities in the aviation market. This gives us the opportunity to launch new routes from Warsaw this winter. Some of them, especially those in the Balkans, are considered niche, but they are expected to see significant developments in tourism and passenger traffic in the future. Similarly, two years ago flights to the Croatian coast were launched and we became the first Polish carrier to explore them. Now these routes have a strong place in our network”. Besides Zagreb, Eurolot will launch flights to Stuttgart, Chisinau in Moldova and Cluj in Romania. Eurolot operates seasonal summer flights from Warsaw, Poznan, Gdansk and Krakow to Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar.

Eurolot joins a growing list of airlines to have launched services to the Croatian capital this year. Besides Eurolot, several airlines have inaugurated scheduled flights to Zagreb in 2014 including KLM Cityhopper and Vueling from Rome and Germanwings from Hamburg. In October, Qatar Airways will begin three weekly nonstop flights from Doha while in December Flydubai will connect the UAE’s largest city with Zagreb for the first time. Earlier this year, Alitalia said it will launch flights from Rome to the Croatian capital. On the other hand, ČSA Czech Airlines and Etihad Regional cancelled plans to fly to the city this year.     U2 ukida liniju za FCO. Nije mogao da izdrzi konkurenciju od dve mocne aviokompanije. ( ne ponizavam U2 znam da su veci od ASL )

      Ma što je njihovih jadnih 225 zrakoplova spram moćnih Air Serbijinih 18.

      Slušali smo ovdje da je Wizz smeće i da nikog ne treba brinuti što smanjuju za pola kapacitete, pa da je Germanwings tek pulen LH i da se može govoriti o ozbiljnom problemu tek ako easyJet smanji kapacitete.

      E pa smanjio je. Ne samo FCO, nego za zimu ukidaju i Genevu. No, mi i dalje slušamo kako to nije alarmantno, kako je to normalno, kako se povlaće pred moćnim igračem. Nevjerovatno, brzo ste promjenili muziku.

      I da, da, moćan je taj igrać. Sa moćnim državnim subvencijama, moćnim popustom od 50% na BEG, nekim uslugama čak i besplatnim, sa moćnih 50% jeftinijim gorivom, itd. itd. I sve je to moćno samo za Air Serbiju, ne i za ostale. Koji se masovno i moćno povlaće iz BEG.

      @AnonymousAugust 21, 2014 at 10:20 AM, easyJet ne ukida liniju za Zenevu i mozes da kupis kartu na toj liniji cele zime. Rim je izuzetno sezonalna linija. Ukinuo ga je Wizz Air pre neku godinu ali se tada nisi javljao sa svojim komentarom. Mogao bi da komentarises danasnju vest i da se manes suseda.

      Uzgred, nije mi jasno zasto se toliko brines za Beograd i Srbiju. Jel su oni tebi toliko bitni? Beograd belezi rast of 30% putnika prema tome ostavi drugima da se brinu o easyJet-u u Beogradu, a ti se fokusiraj na cinjenicu da se easyJet kompletno povlaci iz Zagreba.

      Naravno da easyjet ukida liniju fco-beg kad u sezoni ima i do 4 dnevna leta po ceni od 120e povratna karta sa velikim koferima na alitaliji i ju-u. ako bi se platio veliki kofer u oba pravca na iziju, cena bi bila kao na alitaliji i ju-u. u srbiji ljudi uglavnom kupuju avbiokarte preko agencija, dakle iz sistema, na kojima nema izija. milano je druga prica jer je jedan dnevni let u pitanju, pa je sa 4 weekly, iziju lakse da ostvari vecu popunjenost kabine. uostalom rim za srbe nije isto sto i bec, frankfurt ili cirih. prema tome muka mi je od ljudi koji pljuju po air serbiji, bez ukljucivanja mozga. germanwings ukida liniju, jer ju je uspostavio u vreme kada je jat leteo 3,4 puta nedeljno, pa je i german sa 3 nedeljna leta, mogao da lepo popuni nedeljni timetable.karte na germanu su uglavnom skuplje nego na asl-u, prema tome sto bih leteo germanwingsom kad mogu airserbijom. muka mi je od onih kojima je sve strano bolje od domaceg. uostalom u pitanju su isti tipovi aviona na letovima do stutgarta.. zeneva nije toliko jaka destinacija iz pravca beograda tako da ja jednim dnevnim letom to moze da bude sasvim dovoljno, i to na malom saab-u bas. imali smo mi i madrid iz beograda na kojem je monopol drzao spanair pa nije islo, dakle ne radi se o politici air serbije vec o mogucnostima za uspostavljanje ili pak nastavak letova ka odredjenoj destinaciji. mislim da bi easy imao velik uspeh kada bi uspostavio letove iz hamburga za beograd.. itd itd..

      nek se povlace, i treba da se povlace. ne kazem da je air serbijin menadzment mnogo pametan, ali nije ni izijev kad je uveo liniju iz rima za beg i pored toga sto su znali da ce tokom sezone biti i do 4 dnevna leta na alitaliji i air serbiji. sto nisu stavili prst na celo pa malko razmislili koliko je dobro da na letu fco-beg bude i peti dnevni let. msm izvini, ali malo previse.. nemam nista protiv da se na zagrebackom plesu pojavljuju nove kompanije, ali prvo dovedite u red ou, pa onda razmisljajte o necemu drugom. koliko god da se nekom ne svidja asl, bar imamo direktne letove iz beg-a do 40ak evropskih i bliskoistocnih gradova, a niti smo u eu, niti nam ista ta eu niti evropske mega aviokompanije uredjuju politiku. cak su mi i drazi arapi nego evropljani toliko.. i koliko god da je nekome smesna politika cena aviokarata, izaci ce sve to na dobro. uostalom i lot je uveo stalnu nisku cenu iz beg-a za waw... da ne pricam o prelasku na lowcost model i lot-a i adrie i mnogih drugih.

      Kako to LYBE ima porast od 30% kad se svi iz njega povlace.
      Posto ste.vi veliki igrac Star Alliance neshvatam zasto neliti direkno Lot nego Cerka firma ( a kako sme LOT da leti za opasni LYBE ),jos jedno pitanje zasto nemate codeshare sa velikim igracima iz star Alliance .

      O cemu pricamo mi kada je germanwings ukinuo Keln dok su imali monopol na toj liniji :D ?

      I sad ocekujemo da im njihov Stutgart opstane i pored Air Serbie... Nema tu neke logike...

      Wizz nije uspeo da odrzi Rim jos pre Er Srbije, i cele frke oko aerodromskih taksi, kada je vladala prava pomama za Wizzom.

      Pa i jeste regionalni član, ti si napisao pola članica Star Alliance, od kojih su samo neki veliki? Savjet: ako nemaš nešto pametno za reći, radije ne komentiraj, a siguran sam da u Austriji ne lupetaš o Austrian-u kao što to radiš na ovom forumu. Malo više poštovanja prema državi u kojoj živiš i u kojoj se školuješ!

    Interesting that all of a sudden Warsaw is so well connected to ex-YU. If I'm not mistaken Adria started flying there this year as well as Air Serbia.

    U maju sam leteo na toj liniji FCO-Beg Easyjetom za 60e. Let je bio 95% pun i u odlasku i u povratku. U odlasku je bio vecernji let u 21:30. Samo sat vremena ranije odleteo je ASL avion za Rim sa jedva 30ak putnika. Jako mi je zao... imali su najjeftinije karte na toj ruti... Nesto se tu desava...

      Devojka i ja smo leteli 14. aprila FCO - BEG u jednom smeru, i bilo je 40ak putnika.. Siguran sam da su imali i dobre i lose load-ove na liniji, sigurno je ne bi ukidali da su im konstantno avioni bili 80ak % popunjeni..

    Летео сам са Изиџетом 3 пута и сваки пут је авион био полупразан(56%,68%,45%)... са услугом са веома задовољан али ако им је таква попуњеност била стандардна она је боље што су се повукли. Ер Србија и Алиталија су јефтинији уколико имате пртљаг.

    Ponavlja se priča sa Bečom gde su Jat i Austrian zbrisali Niki kao ništa nudeći zajedno i do 6 letova dnevno i to često i po ceni od samo 100 evra povratno. Naravno, čim je Niki prestao leteti ova dva su digla cene i mi koji nismo deo dvorske svite da možemo plaćati 200 evra povratnu kartu do Beograda za jedan vikend, moramo da se patimo kombijima ili da viđamo familiju jednom u dva meseca.

    Eurolot isn't owned by national carrier LOT Polish Airlines. Both these companies are owned by the polish goverment.
