Air Serbia expands partner codeshares


Air Serbia and its partner airlines Alitalia and Air Berlin have expanded their codeshare cooperation. According to "Airlineroute", the Serbian carrier will place its flight numbers and designator code onto Alitalia's service between Rome and Amman. On the other hand, the Italian carrier will add its codes onto Air Serbia's flights from Belgrade to Ohrid, Pula and Varna in mid-June.

Starting mid-May, the Serbian national airline will begin codesharing on a number of Air Berlin flights, which will include cities in the United States. Air Serbia will place its codes onto Air Berlin's services from Dusseldorf to Bologna, Boston, Florence, Reykjavik, San Francisco, Stockholm and Venice. Besides Alitalia and Air Berlin, Air Serbia has a further fourteen active codeshare agreements with other carriers. These include Etihad Airways, Etihad Regional, Adria Airways, Aegean Airlines, Air Europa, Air China, Air France, Bulgaria Air, KLM, Air Baltic, LOT Polish Airlines, TAROM, Aeroflot and El Al.
